Pre-lit Christmas tree??

My husband said he heard of a recall on these trees...something about the 'wood' in them not being treated properly and bugs crawling out!!!!!!!!

Anyone else hear this?

I thought pre-lit trees were artificial...no?

I haven't heard anythng about this though.

I heard it on the news the other day. Something about where they were made in China. The bugs are inside the tree and come out when you put them up.
Try ctv.com or snopes.com.

artificial trees..but I assume the branches and/or trunk of the tree are made of wood.
