Pre-Illuminations Music?

Has anyone found a CD of the music played during the 30 minutes BEFORE Illuminations? It is the same every night, and all of the countries of World Showcase switch from their regular theme music to this. Some of the songs have been the same for at least 3 or 4 years, but they did change the order between our last two trips (May have coincided with the dropping of the GE ads). We would love to get this, and I know it is not at the "create it yourself" kiosks. Thanks for any suggestions.

Do any of you guys like this, too?

I went on this quest myself quite a while back. I found the information very difficult to obtain. The music is not a 'collection' on any CD. There are various artists, and most of the music is no longer available. I do have a list somewhere, I'll try and find it for you. I have found some of the songs here and there on Kazaa and other various music download sites. One artist is Cusco, and two of his songs are part of the Epcot music loop; "Flute Battle" and "Montezuma", both songs are on "The Best of Cusco" CD, which is still available.

I found the entire 30 minute segment on a music download service. It was very hard to find. Try EPCOT Pre-Show searches and hope for the best.
While I look at my countdown clock in the low 60 days, it's nice to listen to the music once in a while.

Now we need to find the narration from the beginning of Illuminations when the torches are 'blown out'.

Thanks for the info. I hoped for a simpler answer, and it seems that there would be a market for selling it at the WS. I'll check your link and see what I can find.

Does anyone else like this music, or are we the only ones?

I LOVE the Illuminations preshow music. I was able to successfully download the entire loop from MIRC.

This is not for the technologically faint of heart, but it will work...

At least one of the stations on Live365.com (perhaps MouseInfo Radio) plays the entire pre-show loop frequently. If you have a program like TotalRecorder (www.totalrecorder.com), you can record the streaming music to an MP3 format while it's playing and then convert the MP3 to audio CD format and burn to a CD-R.

If the above doesn't make much sense to you, you should probably forget it right now. But it is possible.

Thanks tjkraz - I've been trying to figure out how to download Disney music from Live 365 and make cd's from it.

If anyone knows for sure which "station" plays that whole illuminations preshow loop, I'd like to know too. I lopve that music and want to burn my own CD.

I went back and checked. The station is D-Magic.

According to their broadcast schedule, they have "Illuminations-Reflections of Earth with full Pre-Show & Closing" daily from 1pm to 2pm.

Tjkraz, what's the exact address? The site I see for D-magic is in Japanese. :)

D-Magic is an Internet radio station on live365.com.

I think this link will take you to the proper station site:

If not, send me a PM with your email address. I should be able to use live365's "email this station to a friend" feature to send you the correct link.
