Pre Disney CP trip, Round 2! From experiencing the magic to creating it.

Hey y'all!

My name is Fallon, and I am about to start my second CP (for those of you who don't know, I mean CP as in College Program, not CP as in Crystal Palace )

My check in date is August 19th 2009, and I'm extremely excited! I can only think about how awesome it would be to go back and do the CP again!

Yes, I said again, this will actually be my second CP. My first one was back in Fall 2007, but I ended up falling in my apartment and injuring my knee after only being there a month. But this past December I finally got my knee surgery, and after 3 semesters of reapplying I got back in!

I will be doing Merchandise, but I won't find out where I work til August 20th.

So why a pre-trip report? Well because my family and I are hoping to go as a vacation as well! We are thinking about August 17th-21st. This way, I have 2 days with them before I check in, my check in day, and then 2 days with them there to help me settle in (ie. go to Walmart and buy the millions of bottles of water I'm going to need, since I don't drink soda and Orlando water is just nasty).

In this pre-trip report, I will not only be talking about the five months of planning that I am going to get to do (yay!) but also five months of preparing for my CP. It'll be loads of fun!

Sounds fun...you must be excited about the CP! That is a bummer about the first time though.

So the Cast:

So far, there are four people in our cast.

Pat (My Mom)
My mom, a goofy lover . My mom could (and does half the time) spend all day watching Soap Operas and home improvement shows. She has been to Disney about as many times as I have, and is bummed that they stopped Super Soap Weekend, because she never got to go to one.

Ben (My Dad)
My dad, I think of him as my own personally Sulley . He has a personality that is, unique. He seems scary, but he is still caring underneath, still is overprotective sometimes though, and still treats me l am 10 or 11. He actually went to WDW the week it opened! I'm totally jealous. My Nana (his mom) meant to give me the papers from it, but she accidently threw them away .

Fallon (Me!)
Me of course, I'm 20 years old and totally obsessed with elephants ! I'm also the main Disney nut in my family, lol. I am majoring in Hospitality, and hope to one day manage one of Disney's hotels (I'd love to manage Boardwalk! That'd be awesome!) I think it's going to be wicked to spend my 21st birthday at Disney!

Allison (My little sister)
My little sister, she actually turned 11 today! She is a Tigger , (I am too, but she's like 5x more hyper then I am). She is deathly afraid of fur characters, we still don't have a picture with her and Mickey . I'm not pushing her on it though, because I don't want to make it worse, but considering she is 11 and not over it, I'm pretty sure it's a phobia. When she was about three (her first trip) she hid under the table at one of the character breakfasts, and I think Minnie thought she was playing peek-a-boo and peeked under the tablecloth, my sister screamed bloody murder and ran out of the restaurant, I had to go chase her. She's hated them ever since.
