Pre-Cruise Stay Question

We normally stay at the MCO Hyatt night before cruise. Our next cruise, the rate is insane. Any recommendations for hotel close to airport with shuttle service to and from airport as we want to take DCL transport to the port.

We have stayed at the Towneplace Suites and the Renaissance hotels by the airport with shuttles. Both were good, Towneplace is brand new, Renaissance is older but great service and their shuttle picks up/drops off right next to DCL transport.

Just about all the major hotel chains have properties near the airport and they all offer free shuttles.

There are about a dozen hotels on Augusta National Drive just off the airport property. We stayed at the Marriott. The shuttle picked us up at the airport and the next day the shuttle dropped us right off at the Disney Bus stop at the airport. And the hotel included a free breakfast.

Did you check the DCL rate for the Hyatt? They usually maintain a flat fee even when Hyatt does price surging.

That's what we've done and it's worked out great. Better choice/rates . . . a visit to WalMart . . . and plenty of time to get to P.Cvl for boarding.

Check out their "Fly Snooze Cruise" package; it includes a shuttle from the airport to your hotel, a shuttle from your hotel to the cruise port, and a shuttle from the cruise port to the airport.

My husband and I stayed at the La Quinta on Frontage Road for a night before our Wish cruise last weekend. Free breakfast, free shuttle to/from airport, and the bed was pretty comfortable. We used Lyft, but the shuttle ran every 30 minutes.
