Pre-Cruise recomendations?

We are going on the Nov. 28th 4 night Bahama cruise out of Port Canaveral, and we will be flying into Orlando on the Sunday.

We are hoping to take the Disney transport to make things easy, any recommendations for a hotel that either has a pickup for the cruise? or is a short trip away from one of the pickup spots so we can hop on the bus and have our luggage delivered?

This is our first Disney cruise so any advice is appreciated

We are also going on our first cruise, in December, same cruise out of PC. We are staying at the Hyatt right in the MCO airport. Disney transport picks up at the airport and transports right to PC. I think, for a first cruise, it's the easiest way to go. No leaving the building!!

If you want transportation directly from your hotel to port, you'll need to either stay at the Hyatt MCO, or at a WDW resort.

The Radison at Cocoa Beach offers transportation to their hotel and shuttle service to the port as well. Might want to take a peek at that if you are not interested in a Disney hotel.

We stayed at Radisson at the Port, it's literally 5 minutes away from the ship. We booked the park and cruise package. Our rental was parked at the hotel while we cruised and we took the shuttle. So easy!

That's great advice. We are going to WDW after the cruise, hadn't thought much about staying there before the cruise. If we get Disney transport from resort to cruise (and back again later) do we book that through the resort after we make reservations? or from DCL?

DCL transfers are booked through DCL. It's $35.00 per person each way.
