Pre-cruise poll? Disney or the Beach?

Which would you suggest?

  • Do the beach thursday, friday and saturday?

  • Do Disney thursday and friday and beach saturday?

We are surprising the kids with a cruise June 5, 2005.

They want to go to the beach next summer they keep telling us. So we are tellilng them we are going to the beach, and then on Sunday we will say we are "touring a boat".

We will arrive on Thursday June 2 and have 3 days to do the beach. However, my husband thinks we should do 2 days disney and then the Beach just on Saturday. I dont want to get tired before the cruise and feel the beach would be more fun to do.
IT is really 2 1/2 days, since we wouldnt arrive till late afternoon on Thursday.

My question is IF we stay at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront, is there enough to do for those days prior to the cruise?
OR
Do you think we shoud work a disney day and half in? (we have Ap's)
NOTE: we are doing disney for 5 days after the cruise.

Thanks for any opinons and advice!!
Oh yeah, any comments on the HI is appreciated, too.

I say just stick with Disney before the cruise....You can do a beach for one of your excursions..... :)

Have fun!

hi

if you're doing DW after the cruise- why not enjoy the beach for a day or two before the cruise- we will be doing the beach one day before our cruise- i don't want to do anything that will cause us to be worn out before the cruise- so i figure laying on the beach- building sand castles & eating in a nice sea food restaurant will be the way for us to go

what ever you do, just remember you are on vacation and will have a great time:sunny:
