Pre-booking seats

I know this has been asked before but i can't find the right thread, we are flying on the 19th may 2010 so we are trying to work out how many days before we can pre-book our seats with VH but we can't remember how many days before we can do it

335 days, basically 11 months out

I know that you probably know this, but you cannot Pre book, rather pre request.

There are chances that your seat assignment will change during the time leading up to the flight.
this is normal, you have not booked specific seats, rather requested that they be assigned to you.

You will need to check your "manage my booking" each month to see if the seats are still the same.

Yes i was aware that it's a request, in our previous 6 visits we have always had the seats we requested

We have always had requested seats except once. Online checkin was not working, got to airport 2 hours to take off, they had given our seats to a family with small children. Works well most of time but odd time you don't get them.
