Anyone flying out on Sept 19th? I just tried pre booking my seats with virgin but cannot do it, so i assume more than 60% of the seats have already been prebooked. Enquired about upgrading to premium economy but was quoted £1100 one way for 2 of us. No way am I paying that!!

It may be that the 60% quota of seats have already been pre-allocated. Just check in early and you will be fine.

We booked with virgin so we could pre book our seats after phone calls to our travel agent and virgin Atlantic they have changed the rules Again!
You can now only pre book your seats once your tickets have been released,so you should be able to soon :)

I think 2tiggies was suggesting online check-in, which is what I'd suggest - do it early and there should be some decent seats available to select then.

Did you book through Thomas Cook? Two years ago we had that - we never got our flight locator numbers.

Online check in is your best bet - if it is available for your flight. It looks like VA are only doing OLCI for London flights at the moment. The website says 'until further notice' :confused3

Hi 2Tiggies we booked with Virgin Holidays and got our locator numbers last week???? Not very happy as we booked really early so we could get seats on our own it will be pot luck now :confused3
We are really disappointed with Virgin, only good thing is 3 weeks at ASMu woo hoo!!:banana::banana:

hi we fly sept 19th from manchester, but we pre booked our seats a couple of months back now, like someone said check in online the day before and you will get seats together easily enough.

VH should be fine. Did you know that you can use your VH reference on the VA website? I did (Disney UK flight inclusive is handled by VH) last November and it generated my flight locator for me, which I use now. Give it a go.

Have you stayed at ASMu before? We did last year and loved it! I wouldn't hesitate to go back there.

I didn't know we could do that with virgin will have to remember that for next time possibly??? :confused3

Yes we stayed at ASMu last November it was our 1st time on site we absolutely loved it there we are so looking forward to going back, shame its months away we are getting terrible Disney withdrawal symptoms.

Where are you staying when you go?? :)

POFQ this year. And I booked it fresh of the flight from our April visit last year :rotfl: so I had a looooong wait too! Now that, dear friends, is a sign of early onset Disney withdrawal. :rolleyes1

That sounds like a plan lol, will have to remember that. :thumbsup2

Have you stayed there before, will you be taking any pics??

:)

No, never stayed there, but my daughter took a liking to the pics of the waterslide at the pool, lol. She has no idea about this trip - she thinks we MIGHT go to Spain later in the year. I am looking forward to telling her at the airport hotel that Spain has "moved". :lmao:

I will definitely take pics. Last year we spent 16 days at ASMu and I took over 1000 photos. Only when I got back did I realise I never took one at the resort - not even one. My 7 year old presented her basic point and shoot camera with several resort pics. :guilty: I won't be making that mistake again.

You'll love POFQ! I stayed there in 2005 and 2007 and loved it. We decided on AKL in 2009, to take advantage of the free dining offer...but this year I'm taking DF to POFQ :lovestruc Its my home from home :cloud9: The pool is great, my little brother still loves it and he's a teenager now!

:goodvibes

Great! I was wondering if my 8 year old will still be allowed on the slide as I heard there is a height limit, although I couldn't find out if that was fact or not. :)

If there is a height limit, they don't enforce it...to my knowledge at least. Whilst we were there my brother (aged 9 and 11 at the times) got on there no problems, and there were elder children than him. Some adults were on there too, without 'being accompanied by children'! :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Thanks.
