Hello All,
The previous times we have been to Florida,we have always been as a '2' or a '3'.There are now 4 of us and i will be able to pre-book our seats soon with Virgin.I was wondering-what are these rows at the back with only 2 seats, that i hear some people talk about? Are they window seats? Can you advise me on row+seat numbers, and are there 2 sets of them-one behind the other as there will be 4 of us.Don't really want to sit with one across an aisle,or the 4 of us stuck in the middle.Any advice would be much appreciated. If you have other recommendations for 4 please let me know.Thanks.x.

I have been frantically searching through all the "rubbish" that i keep from every holiday to find the seat numbers but can't find them!! Typical.

We had the two seats, 3 rows from the back on our flight there and back in October - great seats - yes, one of them only have a partial view of a window....i am sure one of the experts on this board will know exactly which numbered seats are which:thumbsup2 (63 and 64 ring a bell).

When you come to book your seats they will be very obvious.

Thanks, much appreciated :thumbsup2 .Do they still recline/do the same as the other seats?.Is there anything you did'nt like about them?.Are you left with only one food option being that far back? Also does it mean you are way behind on getting your luggage+getting thru customs?I like that extra bit of room along the side of the window.x.
(sorry about all the questions-anyone else- please feel free to answer these questions as well).x.

These are among the best seats to have - you get your food first, so always have full choice:thumbsup2
You are however last off the plane, but just go all the way to the right at immigration - when they have finished all the U.S. nationals, they will call the next line over and you will normally get through before a lot of your flight ( AS LONG AS THEY AREN'T ALL READING THIS:rotfl: ).

Please don't think of it as "booking" your seats though - they are ONLY requests and you are more likely to be moved from these particular seats, unfortunately.

Cheers for your advice.Yes i know it's only a request, but everytime i have requested seats on previous trips i have never been changed,so have been very, very lucky. Thanks again.x.

We have also used these seats 2 years ago! And I can say that they are roomier than the normal economy ones :thumbsup2 and as your right near the back its nice to stand up near the loo's, stretch your legs, have a look out of the window-all passes the time away!!

I'm up for anything that passes the time away Jeanette:rolleyes: :goodvibes

:yay: Just Booked Mine The Seat Numbers Where 60 3 Seats And 61 2 Seats
GONE ON THE VA WEB SITE AND YOU CAN GET A SEATING PLAN
GOOD LUCK

We had two rows of two seats in 2006 I think. They were fine just a touch noiser with the engines being in front of you but it was nice sitting in twos instead of 3 together and one across the aisle.

Hi,

We travelled back in these seats on wednesday night. There are 4 of us too and DH and I swapped during the flight to sit with my daughter who is 6 and my son who is 21 months. I have no complaints at all and I think they were more spacious than the other economy ones (we had 4 in the middle on the way out). Only really noticed the noise on take off. Would certainly be happy to use them again.

Funny that's how my husband books them-I get to sit with the kids:rolleyes1

When the kids were little I always sat with them because I had to entertain them but now they are older we take it in turns. I landed lucky in 2005 because the hubbie was sat behind us wondering who he was going to get sat with. Then the most obnoxious woman who had been causing two scenes in the airport with the loudest voice came down the aisle. Unfortunately, she had the seat next to the hubbie. She was a nightmare with her son.

Thanks for your info, much appreciated:thumbsup2 .Did you pre-request your seats on the way out or did they just give you the 4 in the middle? We really, really do not want middle seats.x.

Michelle, phone VA and request the seats for both flights, or do it online, as you know they are not guaranteed, but you will more than likely still be sitting in them!
