Hi, I am traveling with my parents and my brothers family, and want to book us a table for 6 at Palo at the 90 day mark as I am a CC member. I called to make sure my reservation reflects that I am a CC member and then asked about making the Palo reservation for 6. She put me on hold (I was talking to DVC, who I booked two of the cabins thru) and she called over to DCL and they told her I could not book a table for 6 in advance, only could book for 4, then have my SIL book a table for 2 (at 75 days as they are not CC members) and hope that we get similar times and that they could possibly pull our two tables together.

Does that sound right to you? Should I call DCL my self? :confused3

This is a present to my mother for her 65th birthday and my Brother and his family are also coming with the four of us, so I want this to be special. One of the biggest parts of my parents lives is good food and good wine, so I want to make this night a great memory, not of my borother and his wife across the room!

Please Help :wave2:

Being a CC memeber has nothing to do with booking at Palo.

Everyone can book Palo, spa and kids clubs reservations ahead of time now, before they cruise. Go to disneycruise.com. Now concierge memebers get to book the earliest, then those that booked the REAS package and then all regular guests. For regular guests I believe you can book 60 days from your cruise day.

and the big question..yes, you can book a table for six..no problem, in advance right on the internet. Just click and the table size will drop down more choices. You will have no problems at all, unless all the tables for six are already booked online. Then you will have to try once you get on the ship. Good luck!

So DCL was wrong, no problems booking a table for six like they said? All the worry for nothing!

What they said is no tables for six online, just for four or less.

I wonder if anyone has been successful at booking a table for 6?

She booked a table for six because there are at least that many adults in our respective rooms. However, when she looked on the web site a couple of days later her reservation was changed to two adults (BTW we are both CC members). When she called DCL they told her that the reason they changed her reservation was because there were only two adults in her party :confused3 but if our reservations were linked (which they were but why that didn't appear to DCL at the time I am uncertain) so that there would be enough adults. So I immediately went on line, managed to get a table for 3-4 (there are 3 adults in the two cabins under my name) at a similiar time. I figured when we got on the boat we would tried to arrange for us all to sit together, if not at least close to each other. Then I got in contact with my wonderful TA Merrie, from Dreams Unlimited to insure (although I knew they were) all of our reservations (we have 4 cabins under three different reservations) were linked so we would have dinner together every night. I guess will know for certain when we get on the ship in a couple of weeks. :)

I booked online for 6 people. Maybe you aren't doing it right, I had to do it several times before I figured out how to do it the right way. You have to go in and change the number in your party for 6 and then reserve it. I am not sure how, but I tried several times till I finally go it right, and then I changed the days several times, so I made sure I wasn't there on Pirate night, but I didn't ever had a problem booking for 6 people at all.....after I figured it out.. HOpe that helps you

Minniemoms, how long ago did you book your table for 6? Have you been back to look at your reservation since?

Just wondering since llachance had DCL change a reservation back to two people.

Not entirely true. CC members can book online 90 days out. 1st time cruisers at 75 days and Concierge at 105. Don't know about REAS....

you can book online for 1-2 adults, 3-4 adults or 5-6 adults ... the catch being if there is availability for 5-6 adults, if not then the max you can book is for 3-4 or maybe for only 1-2.

Does that mean that when I am able to book my Palo reservations for 11 I will not be able to do it? I was hoping to get the private room so we can all fit in together. How should I handle this? Call DCL directly and ask them to reserve it? It's a really important occasion and I wouldn't want to mess this up.

We wanted to book for 14 - can't do it in advance on line and they can't/won't do it on the phone in advance (I think they use the same system that limits the max to 5-6 adults) - I was told we'd need to have 3 of us do 5-6 adult ressies, and then once onboard "link" them or just wait until we get onboard to see about getting the private dining room for 14.

The problem was that some of our group could book 90 days out and the rest had to wait until 75. We failed in getting three 5-6 adult ressies at the same exact time. So we'll see what we can do onboard....

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll still have to scramble when I get on board. At first I thought I might be able relax and have a nice lunch. HA.
