Pre booked seats... Virgin

How long is it that you can pre-book your seats with Virgin? I can't remember if i read it was 330 days? Anyone know. When we flew with them last time we pre booked but at a much later date.

Yes it should be 330 days as that is when VA load the seats into the system.

You can request your seats 336 days ahead of your flight.

It's around 336 days if you book direct with VA.

If you book through Virgin holidays you have to wait for them to pass the booking to VA and they'll not do this until at least 11 months before the return flight. I say at least as there is normally a delay before they do this - I usually end up phoning Virgin holidays to get them to send the booking across to VA.

For our flight next June there was a large number of the 4 seats in the middle already booked by the time our booking was on the VA system although we still got seats we were happy with.

It is 336 days now. It used to only be 90 days in advance but luckily that has now changed!

No you don't have to have booked through Virgin but Thomas Cook might have to give you the locator number to enter on the screen.
