Pre-Booked Rooms & New MYW Packages

Hi There,

Does anyone know the concrete answer on whether a room booked at a discount (ie: the Winter Dream discount) can be retained on January 2nd when you add on MYW tickets & food? Or will we have to book the rack rate?
I've seen a few different answers, maybe someone can clear it up for me!

From all the information I've received from Disney ( I am a travel agent), it seems you will be able to purchase the MYW passes individually (no matter where you or staying or at whatever discount). However, the meal plan cannot be purchased unless you add it on to a MYW package (room plus passes plus meals under one package, not purchased individually).

We are not able to book MYW until 1/2, so I imagine more information will be available then. I am meeting with our agency's Disney rep. on 1/5, so I will post any information I receive then!
