Tomorrow morning, my mom and I (and the accountant) are going to a new lawyer to see if he can do anything about settling some of the estate stuff. The current rat hasn't done a *thing*, nor will he even put in writing what he "will do", and his inaction will cause trouble not to far down the road if we don't act quickly. So we're doing an initial consultation with another lawyer who is an aquaintance of the accountant's. (This accountant has been taking very good care of my mom while trying to help her get her feet back under her. He said he prefers this type of situation because he knows people like my mom need an honest and knowledgeable person helping them.)
My mom's turning into a nervous wreck who doesn't trust anyone and who is running out of steam and will to fight. She's ready to give up, sell everything, and move into a trailer somewhere, which is *not* the right thing to do.
So we could use a lot of prayers for strength and patience tomorrow. (Well, for the next few months, but tomorrow especially)
After the meeting, we're planning to go see a garden tour tomorrow afternoon, so I'm trying to give her something to look forward to as well as something to fear.
