Prayers please

Last week, we found out my dad has stage 4 bladder cancer that has metastisized (spell?) to his liver, some lymph nodes, and some bones. He was told 6 to 8 weeks with out treatment but 6 to 12 months with treatment. He has chosen treatment but it has been delayed due to surgery . He had a tumor in his leg that had weakened the bone so much they were afraid he would break a bone which would set back treatment. He had a rod put in his leg successfully but is recovering slower than expected . His chemo has been postponed a week and he is in a rehab facility.

We have already booked and have adrs for our annual trip in Oct. He keeps saying he is going! I just hope that is true. I would rather have my dad alive than go to disney but I am hoping that goal will give him something to look forward to and fight for.


I know cancer is a crazy thing and what the dr says is just a guess but it is still hard to comprehend.

Thank you! just found out earlier today chemo will start thurs. My dad is just glad to get started on this part of his battle.
