Prayers please - pregnancy

Hi everyone. I could really use some prayers. I'm really early in my first pregnancy and am having an issue. I won't go in to it here because it is tmi. My doctor is telling me not to worry, and its normal at this stage, but I'm worried it means I'm going to miscarry. I'm going to my regular doctor on Monday and am going to talk to her about it as well. What makes it worse is that I stopped my anxiety meds to get pregnant and since this started my anxiety is through the roof. Please pray that my baby is ok. Thank you all so much for letting me get that off my chest.

If you're spotting, that is normal at the beginning. I spotted at 7 weeks with my DD, and they did an ultrasound to determine that she was ok. I didn't spot with my son, so it did scare the heck out of me. Best wishes for you and your baby!

Spotting is really common in the first few weeks. As long as it isn't really heavy and there is no pain you should be fine. Also try not to worry, stressful mom makes for stressful baby. Focus on all the exciting things to come!

Got some good news. My OB is back in town and had me come in for an ultrasound. Everything looked perfect and I even got to see and hear the heartbeat! She said that with my history I may spot through the whole first trimester. I just have to keep an eye on it. We go for our full first visit next week. Thank you all for the prayers.

I spotted almost my entire pregnancy with DD7. And we had tried for over 2 years to get pregnant, so even though I was told "it's normal" and "don't worry" I still panicked a bit every time it happened. Turns out I had a hematoma near the placenta and it just bled off and on. I completely understand your worries but wanted to give you some reassurance. So glad you got to see and hear the heartbeat. Such a wonderful sight and sound!

Thank you Kerrio. The brown spotting started again today. I called my ob and she said it is probably from my subchorionic bleed/hematoma and just to keep an eye on it. Trying to stay positive. I can't wait for my ultrasound next Thursday to hear the heartbeat again.

I know its hard not to, but try not to worry. I had some bleeding (way more than spotting) in the beginning and I have a healthy 7 month old curled up on me right now. It was really hard not to freak out though.

Hi everyone, got a baby update today. Baby looks good with a heartbeat at 170 bpm! Still on track for a July 28 due date. The spotting is gone for now, but it may kick back up thanks to today's exam. Thank you so much for your comforting words and good thoughts.

Good luck. Hope things continue on the right path. My due date with my first was July 28th. He came on July 21st.
