Prayers please for pregnant dd

DD (34 weeks along) just called and says she feels "weird" and is spotting. She called her dr and is waiting for her dh to get there to take here. She also has placenta previa, but I don't know how severe that is. I'm in central va and she's north of pittsburgh. She also left the dr on tues and he said her test for diabetes was alittle abnormal so they're planning more tests after the holidays. I'm just praying that everything is okay.

I'm pretty sure spotting is pretty typical with placenta previa. I hope she and her doctor get it figured out. It must be so difficult to be that far away from her right now.

FWIW my DD was born at 34 weeks, and while she had to stay in the hospital for a couple of weeks, she is perfectly fine and healthy now.

On further review on Mayo Clinic.com it says your daughter should see her physician and get to the hospital asap. Not to scare you but for her safety maybe you should encourage your daughter to go to the hospital asap.

I most certainly will.

I didn't have placenta previa, but I did start spotting and felt weird right around 33 ish weeks. I went into the hospital after calling the on call OB (it was after hours) and after monitoring it was discovered I was in preterm labor and the spotting was from cervical change.

I was on mag. sulfate for the weekend and got the steriod shots for the baby's lungs. When things settled down I was released to bedrest.

He stayed in until 36 weeks and a few days and was 6 lbs 14 oz and had zero nicu time.

I'll be praying hard!
