Prayers please for pregnant dd

So glad you daughter is heading to the hospital. Sending prayers for her and the baby.

Been there, done that! DD is now a happy healthy 3 year old. That said, it's totally stressful and absolutely terrifying. I'm glad she's going into the hospital. I'm sure she and the baby absolutely fine, but those darn previas can act up. I wouldn't be shocked if they keep her until she delivers, or keep her until she has no bleeding for 4-5 or so days. (I really hope I'm not scaring the poop out of you! I'm just speaking from experience. This sounds scarier than it really is.)

Here's a little suggestion, when you're out, pick up a couple preemie sized sleepers. I wasn't prepared and had to scramble about after DD was born but still in the NICU. I wouldn't wash them yet, keep the tags on and keep the receipts but just have a few on hand just in case she has the little one early.

Update: Ob has sent her to the hospital for a ultrasound. So now waiting for another text from her.

Second update: DD emailed that she did ultrasound and is waiting for radiologist to read them and call her. She's on her way home to rest. So hopefully this means they didn't find anything wrong. I would think if something was wrong the hospital would have kept her.

Again, thank you to everyone. She only has her husband in PA and I don't have any extended family to support me.

Glad to read these updates. I do think it is 'normal' with PP. I had this myself, and spotted for 7 or 8 months with my firstborn. Definitely they did the right thing by going in.

Okay fingers crossed, last update for the night. Dr. says the placenta where it should be but not completely blocking so she's on bed rest and followup appt on tues.
