Prayers & PD for a student of mine

If you can, please say a prayer for a young student of mine. Gabriella is only 8 years old. She was diagnosed with leukemia about 18 months ago. She was doing very well but recently had a relapse.

She has stopped dancing due to intense treaments & is now in need of a bone marrow transplant.

If you pray, please say one for her.

Of course she will be in my prayers. This post gave me chills, though. When I was in elementary school, the older sister of a boy in my grade had leukemia...her name was Gabrielle. She was only 1 year older than us, so we all knew her, as well. Unfortunately, she did not make it. I pray that, with all of the medical advance since then, Gabriella has a much better outcome!!

I will keep her in my thoughts MM. It hits home when I hear stories like this. My cousin had leukemia and underwent a stem cell transplant about a year or so ago. It did work, but she was so sick for so long, and still isn't quite right, there's always something going on.

It's a rotten disease and the people that have it are such fighters. I do hope this little girl makes it through again.
