Sorry that I haven't bee posting lately. But, Lane has his first set of scans (bone scan, PET, MRI) on Tuesday since starting the clinical trial. Please Pray, Believe & visualize all 13 of these tumors GONE ( 2 tumors in cheek area, trachea, 5th rib, 2 in rt shoulder, L1 L4 L5 vertebrae, left pelvis, rt tail bone, left femur & left tibia). Please God let this treatment be working!!

Thanks for the update, I shall continue to keep Lane in my thoughts.

Lane got injected for his bone scan @ 8am & his bone scan is at 11am, PET @ 1pm & MRI @ 5pm. Please Pray, Believe & Visualize that all 13 of these tumors (2 in cheek area, trachea, 5th rib, 2 in rt shoulder, L1 L4 L5 vertebrae, left pelvis, rt tail bone, left femur & left tibia) are gone! God is great & performs Earthly Miracles everyday!!! We hold tight to the belief that Lane will be one of them!

All of his scans are done! Prelim. report said that these set of scans look completely different then the one's 6 weeks ago!! We will not have the official reports till Thur but mom viewed each scan with Lane's Dr & WOW!!! The Treatment is Working!!!!! A HUGE decrease on PET activity!!!! Praise God!!!!

The offical results are in from Lane's tests that were done on tuesday. The results are: CT-no definite lesions identified!! PET-NO evidence of Avid disease!! A complete Miracle!!! 13 vivid tumors lit up on the scans 6 weeks ago & now the 13 are not seen!! Thank you God for our wonderful Dr. @ Vandy & for leading us to the Dr. in NYC & this clinical trial!! Could Lane beat the less then 10% survival rate?!? Could this be the trial that starts saving kids diagnosed with Rhabdo?!? I PRAY & Believe the answer is YES!!! We won't let our guard down & will continue on with this fight!!

Just happened to do a search on this little boy from my home county and saw this thread. You can follow his story at https://www.facebook.com/PrayersforLaneGoodwin

This page has just recently gone "viral" and exploded from around 20,000 likes to now well over 200,000 likes. As you can see in most of his pictures, he always would give a "thumbs up" to let everyone know how he was doing, so now in his time of greatest need, the page is being inundated with people giving thumbs up...normal people to celebrities. It's really amazing.

The last I read Lane was at home in hospice care with his family. His cancer relapsed May 8, 2012.

Just to let everyone know, Lane passed away Wednesday night and is at peace.
What an amazing young man, what a terrible disease. Please keep his family in your prayers. They have a new angel watching over them. God Bless.
