I was in Paris five years ago. Truly a beautiful city. I am from the New York City metro area, I do understand how you feel and know that right now that the pain and shock are overwhelming. Allow for the mourning, and know that a lot of people are mourning with you. I hope that you and your family are safe.

Three teams carried out the attacks in the French capital in which 129 people were killed and more than 350 wounded, of the 350, circa 100 are very serious.

At least one British subject killed.

My French half feels for Paris today.

Our 20 year old daughter is studying abroad this semester and is in Paris this weekend. My heart stopped when I heard the horrible news. We are so relieved and thankful she is okay. She said it was an eerie and quiet day in Paris. Our thoughts are with those who lost a loved one or was injured.
