Prayers for our friend's DD please

Our friends adopted a beautiful little girl from China and brought her home in December, right before Christmas. She will be 1 next month and they just found out she has a severe blood problem called Thalassemia Major. It's not curable but it is treatable. It will requite transfusions thoughout her life and it can have other problems along with it. Please pray for this little girl and her very worried parents.

Many prayers will be said by many good Disers. My youngest child is Korean-born, and I know how much I loved him and how much joy he brought to our family right away. That family has experienced the high of bringing their baby home, and now a low point right away. We will pray for them and for the doctors who work with them along this journey, and we will hope for only promising and hopeful and wonderful results along the way.

I am so sorry to hear. Thalessemia runs in my family. My Godmother (my Mom's sister had it). She also had Major. The good news is that they have come a long way in treating it. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to try and answer. What state do they live in?

Oh wow, as a mother waiting patiently for her daughter from China this breaks my heart!! Prayers being said! What is the little girls first name if you don't mind me asking. I would like to pray for her by name.
