Prayers and Pixie Dust

Well, I'm headed to Disney on Thursday and I'd appreciate any prayers and pixie dust you might have to spare. Last Wednesday my step-father passed away unexpectedly. He was only 58. I had planned to leave for Disney on 6/22 and my mother told me not to cancel the trip.

So, invited my mother and my 17 year old stepbrother to come on the trip with us. At this point, it looks like they will be headed down. I was staying in a studio at BWV and I called this morning and they had a one-bedroom available. So, they will be headed down on Sunday. I'll have to see what plans I can change since all the ADR's are for three. I only reserved CRT and Chef Mickey's this trip, so the rest will be counter service. Was going to be fine when it was just me and the kids.

Mom is going through a really difficult time right now and I hope that a trip the trip with the grandkids will take her mind off of it. We went last summer and the trip reports are linked below. Maybe some of you will remember reading about Omi. Just think it would be good for her to get out of the house right now.

Anyway, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

If there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that there is always prayers to spare. And, of course, pixie dust too. Hopefully this trip will be a wonderful experience for all of you.

So sorry for your loss. Your Mom was right to tell you to keep your plans and you were brilliant to invite her & your stepbrother along! Getting the heck out of Dodge is probably the best thing for all of you right now!
