Prayers and Pixie Dust needed for my Little "Beanie"

If you have any spare prayer or pixie dust, my little dachshund, Marcus, needs it. He has been diagnosed with a cervical disc lesion (bulging disc in his neck) he is a senior and this is his first episode (although we have lost an 8 yr old with the same problem just more severe). Marcus is 11 1/2 yrs and is my "Baby"!!!!!
It just kills me to see him so uncomfortable he is drugged up and I'm a technichian so I know how to hold him when necessary, about the meds etc
but it still doesn't feel like enough. He unlike the other little devils we have has always been the perfect pet, never has chewed up anything or got into any trouble, he goes where we go, weather permitting.
I know we aren't to this point yet but we could soon be faced with whether surgery is the BEST option, if its worth it to him, I have to keep remembering to think about what is right for him and not only for me (I know the surgeon will give the best advice etc first) Not to mention the thousands of dollars it would cost. He is more than worth it but....
Guess I'm just feeling sad and definitely worried, thanks for letting me cry.

Awww, Kim. I can only imagine how frightened you must be.
