Here is an idea for the Baptism -- are you a member of Costco or do you have a photo shop store near you? If so take a picture of your little guy in his leg cast along with your new baby and daughter. Then make the picture into notecards. You can personalize the message inside the card to say something like "Thank you for all your support" and then you can add the firstgiving website address. Then you can pass out the cards at the Baptism. At Costco a set of 12 cards is about $8. I recently did this myself to use as Thank you cards to send to people who supported me during my recent recovery. Good Luck with your fundraising efforts and also your son's recovery. I was so happy to hear that it wasn't cancer and that you won't have to go through that ordeal with your son.

Hi everyone. I want to report that Johanthon is doing weel ,despite a stomach bug that hit him friday. He is trying to wrok with his restrictions and for a 4 year old he is doing great. We head back to CHOP for our first post op visit tomorrow. The worst part is the drive since he keeps getting car sick. I am always a ball of nerves the night before, getting him all packed and getting the baby all set is a full time job. I have to say thank you all again, it means alot. I am bummed we cant text donaions to GKTW anyomre, i was planning on having everyone donated at our daughters baptism Aug 7. Anyone have a good idea how to get some extra $$$ from guests?

Get some gingerbread or ginger snaps and have him eat a few before the trup! I get horribly sick at sea and general motion sickness. Ginger works great!!!!! I discovered it here on the dis when planning a dis cruise!!!! The Dis community is great for so much info!!! Good Luck and God Bless!!!!

Just wanted to update, Johnathon is doing well and started kindergarden today! He was able to get out of the walking boot last week and now just has a tiny limp that is improving all the time. Still no running or jumping but we are thrilled that things turned out so well. Thanks again everyone!

So about 1 year ago I discovered a tumor in my sons leg, well about a year later we are getting ready to go to wdw for Star wars weekend as we promised him last summer! We were back to chop April 12 and his xray looks good! thanks you so much again everyone! Wanted to let you know that this had such a good ending!
