Prayers and PD Please

I received a call from my Grandmother on Friday telling me that my Aunt Sharon, who is terminally ill with AIDS, has taken quite a turn for the worse. She went into the hospital on Wednesday to have her gall bladder removed and it wasn't as simple as they originally thought. The doctors told her to expect a long road as her liver has really gone downhill and that creates alot more problems for her. My Aunt has always been such an energetic, vibrant lady who has brought alot of love to our family and especially my 5 year olds.....I can't imagine how devastated my little girl is going to be if something should happen to my Aunt.
Please keep her in your prayers......thank you

Sorry to read of this sad news. It may be worthwhile considering ways in which you can prepare your 5 year old for your Aunt's demise. Kids at that age do have a beginning sense of the role of death in our lives. You could simply tell her that your Aunt is very sick and is struggling as much as possible to fight a dangerous illness.
