Prayer and pixie dust requests--Updated May 2

My DD almost left again last week, it was too much for her to try to detox and rehab at home. After much prayer, God opened a window and someone funded her rehab. We took her there on Fri, 3/17. She was happy to go. She is in black out right now, but we are able to visit her on Sunday.
Praise God for His blessings, and His faithfulness.

Well I got home from the hospital yesterday after a wonderful 5 day stay. I did have more cancer in my chest. I am still waiting to hear from pathology exactly what type of cancer it is. I will be seeing my oncologist on 3/28 and my Pulmonologist ans Thoracic [sp?] surgeon a few days later to find out where we go from here.
Despite the recurance I am in pretty good shape physicaly [except for post-operatie pain] and I continue to have a pretty upbeat attitude. I got through this before and I know I will again.
I'll be back when I know more.

Well I got the pathologist's report today. The cancer is back but there is some good news. I don't have any tumors, just some abnormal cells, so I will not need radiation. I will have to start a course of chemo in about another 4 or 5 weeks. My oncologist has recommended 4 treatments, 1 every three weeks, starting in early May at the latest. If I heal up quickly from the surgery the oncologist would like to try to get me in for 1 treatment about 4/24, before we leave for WDW on 4/29. If I am slow in healing then the first treatment will be after we get back, week of May 8th.

In the meantime I continue to be in a lot of pain from the surgery. I will run out of pain meds tomorrow so I'll have to call my surgeon and get him to give me another scrip.

Well I saw the oncologist today and my first chemo is scheduled for 5/11. I will have 4 treatments between 5/11 and 8/11 then I will have a complete scan done. If the scan doesn't show any new cancer I will probably have two more chemo treatments as a precaution. If more cancer is seen on the scans my treatment will be reevaluated.
In the meantime only 18 days until we go to WDW.

We just found out that a very, very dear friend of the family was diagnosed with prostate cancer yesterday. If you could please pray for him and his family I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

And if you have a quick minute, I have to take a test for work tomorrow that I HAVE to pass. I failed it the first time and now I'm terrified to take it again. If you could say a prayer that I overcome my fear and pass it this time, I would be so thankful!!

Dear Friends -

I would like to take a moment and ask you to pray for David and Melanie Chandler, father and step-mother of Kayleigh and Michael Chandler. Kayleigh and Michael have been abducted by their non-custodial mother and are now believed to be in Europe.

Many people wonder why a mother would take her children and flee. Others think that something had to be wrong with the father. I can tell you that I know David and Melanie and they are wonderful, faithful, and true servants of God. I have seen the children with their father and you could not ask for 2 more loved and loving children. David has been a minister for over 20 years and is presently an outreach pastor for First Assembly of God here in Meridian. Everyone who knows him, knows he is a true man of God.

The facts of the case are partially under a court gag order, but I can tell you that David and Melanie have done everything possible to see Kayleigh and Michael. The mother, Donna, for whatever reasons she felt were prudent, has now taken the law into her own hands, obtained passports under false pretenses and is running from local and FBI issued arrest warrants. On the day they were to return from a visit to their uncle, their illegal passports reflected that they were in London, England. Donna has contacts in France and Germany and is believed to be living there.

Please help bring these two precious children back home to their father in Meridian, Mississippi . Pray! Pray! Pray that God's perfect will shall be done. You may think you can't help, but you can. Please forward this plea to as many as you can. Normally, I frown on mass emails, but I know the power of God and I know that He can use this as a tool to reunite Kayleigh, Michael and David.

My uncle passed away last night. He was a very wonderful man, who had Alzheimer's. He loved reading, watching baseball and telling jokes, and never said a bad word about anyone. His only daughter and only son haven't spoken since a huge fight several years ago, and their mother sided with the daughter. She has refused to speak to her son as well. She said months ago that she will have him thrown out of the funeral parlor if he comes.

Please pray for this wonderful man who has passed, and for peace in my family, that this man's son may be able to say goodbye to his father, like he deserves, and that hopefully everyone will find it in their hearts to put the past behind them, and that his mother and daughter will not push their anger on the family members who told this man of his father's passing.

I appreciate it.
