Prayer and pixie dust requests--Updated May 2

Praying for Joey and his family, hope he WILL beat the odds with this terrible illness.

Good wishes for your hubby, MrsG, hope he finds what he is looking for. And my best for little Joey there, so sad. He is in my prayers.

May I please ask for prayers for another soldier. This soldier is having a VERY difficult time right now. His vehicle came in contact with an IED and he lost one of his buddies, another buddie lost his foot and will probably lose the other foot as well, and another one fractured both of his legs.

This soldiers name is Allen. He is an absolute sweetheart and can use all the prayers you can muster right now.

Also can I please have more prayers for a Marine who provides air to ground support and his been on many missions lately.

All of these guys/girls mean the world to me. THank you so much!

Heather

Will be keeping Allen in our prayers along with our daily prayers for all our soldiers.

I'm praying for all those who need it today, as I do every morning.

I would ask for some prayers for myself as well, I'm having tests and trying not to get too worried, but this seems like more than just a little infection. CT scan this afternnoon, and I'm hoping for the best, but still need all the support I can get. Thanks DIS pals!! :sunny:

Hope everything goes well with your CT scan. I will be praying for you and everyone else. :grouphug:

Update: I do have an ovarian cyst, but a type that is non-cancerous about 98% of the time. Have an appt with specialist next week, then go from there. Thanks again for all the prayers. :sunny:

I would appreciate it if everyone would say a prayer for my sister Cathy as they just removed a melanoma from her small intestine. They found cancer in 1 of the 4 lymph nodes they removed, but found that it was not in her liver.

My mom is keeping me updated as she gets the news from my sis.

My sister has a history of cancer, first breast cancer and then a recurring melanoma on her arm. They thought she might have cervical cancer but found that was not the case. She found another lump this summer under her arm that was another melanoma. This was on the same side of her body as the breast cancer (which they removed her lymph nodes) and the recurring melanoma. They can't figure out why it keeps coming back when she has no lymph nodes there.

Thank you in advance.

My prayers go out to Cathy to fight this illness and be comfortable doing it.

Tomorrow morning I'm having my surgery.

TIA for all the P & PD. The DIS board people are the best!! :sunny:

Kate-Just wanted to let you know that we are keeping you in our prayers. Give us an update when you can.

Surgery went well yesterday, I'm home and have been mostly sleeping!
Finally was able to keep down a little jello and some soup. Thanks so much for all the prayers and good wishes. I'll be back to normal soon. :sunny:

Glad to hear that things went well and you are doing OK. Keeping the prayers coming your way for a speedy recovery.
