At last! A quest that my little girl could do virtually (and I mean literally...lol) on her own!

I went into the "VMK Quest" room, which I assume is sponsored by VMK? There was a quest kiosk there where the entire quest took place in Adventureland. You had to play a game but not get any kind of score. It was wonderful! And she won a little tiki idol as a prize too!

The only drawback was that, once the quest was over, we just couldn't get back in the room to try another quest...it was too full. But I guess that's okay too because it means lots of people got to try it.

Thanks VMK!

Oh sweet I am never on when events are on because of time difference what color tiki did she get?

I'm happy for you and your little girl! :thumbsup2 :cheer2:

I gave up on them last night. I tried doing one in Hula's room. I finished one of them finally after a half hour. It took me that long to do it because I got disconnected and then while trying to get into a room, I got stuck on the black screen with the status bar going no where. So I had to close out and re-log back in. Twice. And Of course, since it took me so long to finish it, I got nothing.

Then I was finally able to get back into the room to try another quest. I got thru half of it before I was dc'd and was unable to get back into vmk.

Then later during Phinny's quest, I got half way thru it before I was dc'd and had trouble logging back in again. By the time I could finally get back in, it was too late to finish the quest.

These were not the only problems I had with quests yesterday. By the time 10:30 rolled around (end of Phinny's quest), I was thoroughly fed up with not being able to finish any quests (except one which I got nothing), that I just walked away from my computer. I was extremely stressed out at that time. :(

Ragtime Gal, I'm so happy to hear your daughter won a prize! She must have been so thrilled!

I managed to do all of the quests yesterday despite long lines and multiple disconnects. I came in third place on one! I almost feel guilty because I won prizes in all but one of them. No inferno this time, just small amounts of credits and a red tiki. Why do I feel almost guilty? The afternoon quests were repeats. The first one I did was the exact same quest from the night before. I think that's the one I got third place in. I recognized the atom and the green quests as soon as I started playing them. I hadn't done the other two quests before but I'm guessing they were repeats too. Oh well, I didn't cheat! I just remember the quests.

The evening quest wasn't a repeat at least for me.

I love doing these quests. I wish VMK would make one change. If they are going to give you a choice of five quests, why not have each quest machine in a separate room? The lines would still be long but at least they wouldn't have people staying in the start room spending time deciding which quest to attempt.

Congratulations RagtimeGirl!!

This is a great suggestion - they should have each quest machine in a separate room. Would make it alot easier for people to try the quest. You should send this to the black hole, if you do not mind - I will send the same message as well and of course credit it you for your great thinking.

I have to say that I liked having the choice of quests in the staff room. It seemed that the majority of people were playing the one that had inferno as a prize. My son and I played the other 3 in Host Bella's room. He won 1st place in 2 of them and 2nd in the other (without using mules or anything like that). I think it is because very few were even playing those quests. He got some nice (buyable) prizes and was very happy. It was a great thing for kids (and many adults) who can't go very fast on the big quest.

I agree that having the choice of quests is a great thing. There should be multiple quests of varying difficulty and with different prizes. What I'd like to see is the multiple quests start in different rooms. The quest description could be in the description of the room and they could even say whether or not Dancing Inferno magic is a prize for a particular quest. It just seems like getting into the quest rooms would be easier this way and more people would have the opportunity to try the quests because of that.

The way it is right now, no matter which quest you choose, you are waiting in line with everyone who will be choosing the Dancing Inferno magic quest. Then you have to wait while people check the description and prizes for each quest and decide which quest to do.

Ever had to wait in line behind someone trying to pick which flavor of ice-cream they want? You know you what flavor you want but the person in front of you is standing at the counter trying to decide whether to get vanilla, chocolate or one of the other gazillion choices. They take forever! :sad2: Wouldn't it be great if there was a line for each flavor of ice-cream? That way you wouldn't have to wait as long to get your ice-cream. I sure would like that! And that's pretty much what I'm suggesting for the quests.

I apologize for any cravings my analogy has caused. :lmao:
