PPO BOG did not cause Early Morning Magic

I am new on these boards and I don't know what are EMH, PPO, BOG, or CS. I tried searching on disneyworld.com and definitely can't find anywhere to book these things. I tried reading all four pages of this topic it just sounds like people are mad.

This trip is very expensive and I feel like I need some kind of college degree just to go to Disney World. I booked a trip in August with my girlfriend and I am here to learn what to do next. But everyone seems so frustrated and stressed out about their trips. Now I am telling her, look, I think it's all a mistake to go to Disney because see how unhappy everyone is.

Maybe I should just cancel. Good think we didn't buy plane tickets yet.

BOG = Be Our Guest, EMH = Early Morning Hours. etc. This is a board with a lot of repeat Disney World visitors who are passionate about it. However, the one thing in common is that everyone pretty much loves going there and there are many ways to enhance your experience. Just ask and you will find out. There are changes happening at Walt Disney World right now, but it's always an adjustment. You have the good fortune to experience it anew and it will be magical to you as well. Enjoy!

DOn't cancel, and don't worry that your trip will be less than magical. Mambo Junkie is right, this is not the thread for you because it is not helpful for someone new to planning. WE have been discussing the new event and like all new things, we see the pros and cons and will discuss them until the next new change or rumor circulates.

Disney is a magical place and the people here will help you plan. August is a good time to go, there tend to be discounts available and the crowds are lighter than othe times of the year.

Will this be your first trip? If so, things won't be all that 'bad' for you. It's those of us that have been going for a very long time, and have seen a ton of not so wonderful changes happen that are a bit peeved.

Go ahead with your trip, have a terrific time. You can book your ADRs now. Not all meals need to be planned in advance, but if there is anyplace you really want to eat, then you should book an ADR for it now. As far as FP+ goes, you can book those 60 days out from your trip. Other than that, no need to stress. Watch the 'regular' planning threads. They will have a ton of good info for you. This thread will only depress you!!!
