PPO ADR Entry

Last year we had an 8:00am PPO for Akershus at Epcot. When we arrived there wasn't any clear direction as to how to enter the park. We ended up arriving a little late for our reservation because we couldn't find anyone who would let us in before 8. Is there "protocol" at the parks for PPO ADR Entry? A specific place to enter?

There's always been a sign at one of the turnstiles when we have had early reservations and sometimes a person standing there with a clipboard. We haven't had PPO ADR at Epcot though.

Thank you! Do these ever tend to open up at the last minute or is that a total shot in the dark?

Ours opened up the day before so there is a chance. There is a sandwich board that says dining reservations on the right most entry points as you enter the park. It was well marked and there was a CM and a computer setup right there. I found it funny they only scanned my MB to gain entry.

From my experience so far (looking for BOG), there have only been a couple of openings. I didn't know I wanted it, so I didn't book it at 180 days. What I've read though is that you can usually find a res. the day or two before as there are usually some cancellations.
