PPH Concerige or DLH regular???

I have done both and can't decide which is best for our trip in early December. Our last visit was 2008 so I am not sure what has changed and how the renovation has affected DLH....suggestions?

We did PP Concierge this past Summer and really enjoyed it. We were able to utilize it fully as we were there during a time of maximum operating hours and very warm temps. We would come back daily to the hotel for a swim and afternoon snacks, so got to get more of our money's worth out of it. We had a cabana/poolside patio room so the access to swimming was perfect.

Since you are planning for early Dec, it may not be as favorable of an option, as you may not come back as often mid-day and the concierge poolside room may not be a perk if the weather is not warm enough to swim.

We really like the PPH, no matter what room we stay in (standard or concierge). However, I have heard the the new DLH rooms are pretty awesome, too! I think you will do well whatever you decide!

Hmmm... Since you haven't been to DLH I would say there for primarily the new pool, BUT, then I realized you're going in December so I'm not sure how much you're going to really be swimming. Tricky! I think I'd still pick regular DLH.

I agree with Babybears. We did PPH concierge last August - I had 4 teenage boys with me and it was soooo worth it! But as BB pointed out, summer has longer hours so we did take longer breaks in the afternoon and didn't go back to the parks until after Happy Hour. In early December, with shorter hours, you may not want to spend as much time back at the hotel. Both hotels have redone the rooms - PPH was a "soft" redo with new furnishings and beds but DLH was a complete redo as well as the grounds. The DLH rooms do have the edge - they are really nice. And I love the new Trader Sam's Tiki Bar and the outdoor fireplace at the DLH.
