PP or DLH?

We have never been to DL (or California for that matter) and have decided that we are going to stay in one of the Disney hotels for our end of June trip. The new rooms at DLH look great and I am leaning towards there. I am just worried the construction will be an issue. I do like the themeing at PP and it is a little cheaper but the pool area does not look very exciting. Which would you choose?

DLH, you'll love the new rooms- more of a Disney feel than PPH. The construction isn't as bad anymore. There's currently a maze to get to Goofy's Kitchen, but other than that it's getting better around there
