PP entry into DCA?

I've hear of a secret entrance into DCA from PP for the hotel guests. Can someone please explain to me where this is?

And can you exit at this location to return back to the hotel?

This really sounds like a great little secret for saving time entering and exiting the park. I know it's not really a secret but I have never figured out how to do this

Any explanation or even photos would be greatly appreciated. We are staying 5/1-5/2.

You're correct, it's really not a secret. It's just across the street form the Paradise Pier, along the side walk that leads to the Grand Californian. You need your PP room key to get through a metal gate, there you will find a side walk that leads you to a normal type entrance. There is usually one CM working, and you must still have all your bags, etc. checked. This will put you out into the park by Burger Invasion (McDonald's) in the Paradise Pier section of DCA.

The private entrance was one of the main reasons that we stayed at Paradise Pier on our last trip. However we didn't find the entrance until we walked out the exit on our last day. 2 different Cast Members pointed us in the wrong direction. The other problem is the gate does not open until CA's official open time. You can enter the main gates 30 minutes earlier and typically DL opens an hour or two before CA.
