Is it an option to download OR order a CD?

I read something about max 10 downloads within 10 days. When starts that 10 days...is it per photo or photopass?

I read that for the CD the images are saved as a 4x6 unless you save it as a 5x7. Does this mean if I save the images as 5x7 before requesting the CD they will have greater resolution?

What method do you prefer for obtaining your pictures. I'm not big into the borders, and would prefer to edit the pictures at home.

Note: We prepurchased the PP+ and initiated it the first day in the park. All of the pictures appear to be accounted for.

Thanks!

I can't help with the download portion but I can with the sizing.

The images on the CD are saved in a 4x6 proportion, not 4x6 print size. You can print much bigger with no problems. The only problems you will run into is when you edit them online and save them into a 4x6 or 5x7 image. When you do that, you lose information and pixels and you cut off portions in the 5x7.

if you want to do any borders at all that are Disney or signatures then you need to do them while they are online because once you order them, you no longer have that option. Remember to save any pictures you edit as a caopy and not replace.

Thanks! Will keep as original image then.

Did you download the images or did you pick a CD.

What is funny with the borders/etc. is that most of them have 2012 on them for our 2013 trip ; )

For pp+ you should put the cd in your cart and use your promo code to remove the price. Mine didnt give me an option for the download but I guess you cpuld try it first if that is what you would prefer.

So...is the promo code that small slip of paper that was taped to the front of the CD case? My mom had the case, wondering what to do if is lost.

Can anyone else shed some light?

I'm thinking a download would be faster than waiting for a CD (my sister is anxious to get her hands on the pictures)???

According to Disney's site "Once you arrive home from your vacation, you can view your photos and order a PhotoCD with all the high resolution photos plus a limited license agreement, which allows you to print photos at any local photo processing center."

And...
"Q. Does Disney PhotoPass+ include a Disney PhotoCD with all my Disney memories?

R. Yes! Once you are home from your vacation you may visit DisneyPhotoPass.com to view and edit your images as well as order your Disney PhotoCD (Inside your Disney PhotoPass+ package you will find a 16 digit code to enter at checkout to claim your Disney PhotoCD for no additional charge.)."

I don't see anywhere where they mention downloads, but I have read of others being able to download their photos after they entered their code on the PhotoPass site.

No, it's on the brochure inside the sealed Photopass+ CD case you got in the mail when you pre-ordered. Took me a while to find it too. :rotfl2:
