Can I capture a disign I've made and make it a jpg so I can post it here? I'm so new to all of this and have no idea! I know I can't do that in Word, but wasn't sure about PP. :confused3

Nevermind...figured it out. Now if I can just post them...:)

Hi!

Yes, you can save your Power Point slide as a JPEG.

1. Go to File > Save As...
2. Choose where to save at the "Save in..." pull down menu
3. Name your slide under "File name:"
4. Change "Save as type:" to "JPEG File Interchange Format" (Found under the pull down menu.)

I realize you may already be familiar with using the program's "Save as" function, but I wrote the above instructions for someone who may not be as familiar.

Have fun!

You can also do a print screen, then copy it into a drawing program (I use paint.NET). Then, cut out your actual page.

I find sometimes when I save as an image file from power point, it distorts it. This works around that.

That's great info to know! Thank you for posting!

How does the print screen work? After I do that, what kind of program could I use it in? I don't have any of the big photo programs.

If you save as a PNG instead of a JPG you will get a clearer picture. I discovered this today :)
