I know some of the rides you need switch if in ECv to a manual chair .Can i ask would i still need switch if in power chair giving how manoeuvrable they are.i can transfer on to ride myself long as can get next to it

As long as the power wheelchair doesn't have a bigger 'footprint ' than a manual wheelchair, all of the lines will be accessible to you whether you have a manual or power wheelchair. The size for a wheelchair is 32 inches or less wide and 48 inches or less long.

The one exception is Pirates of the Caribbean. Because the load area is in one area and the unload area is down one floor in a different building, it is difficult for them to move wheelchairs from the boarding to the unload area. They prefer that guests use one of the attraction wheelchairs if at ll possible. That way, they only have to worry about making sure there is a supply of attraction wheelchairs at the exit, not getting a particular guest's personal wheelchair to the exit.

If using an attraction wheelchair will be n issue for you, let the CMs at the entrance know. They can usually accommodate people, but my ask you to come back later if they don't have staff to do it at the time.
One other thing to be aware of - the exit has a very steep moving ramp. Don't use that - there s a small hallway with a small elevator to the left of the ramp. That will take you up and let you off in the area near the restrooms.

Some rides can accommodate a power wheelchair too the same as they would with a manual wheelchair if they have the same footprint as the manual wheelchair does as Sue has mentioned. My best friend and I both used power chairs in the parks when we went in April of 2011, and the rides that accommodated both of us at the same time in our power chairs were:

"It's A Small World" (we had to go into separate wheelchair boats)

"The Great Movie Ride"

I am able to transfer out of my wheelchair to get on the ride, and had to do so for the rides that could only accommodate my best friend, and her power chair as my best friend can't get out of her power chair without being lifted.

Forgot to mention - some of the wheelchair accessible ride cars are accessible to manual wheelchairs (most manual) but not to power wheelchairs.
Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Triceraptop Spin both have ride cars with a seat that is removed to make space for a wheelchair. The brackets that the seat attaches with on the floor of the ride car stock up too far for some power wheelchairs to get over.
Buzz Lightyear has a dedicated accessible car, but the space is quite tight and some power wheelchairs may not fit.
Ellen's Energy Adventure has a narrow, steep ramp to get into the wheelchair space in the ride car. Power wheelchairs are not allowed on that ride car (I have heard there was an accident that involved a power wheelchair tipping).

If the attraction is not sccessible for power wheelchairs, there will be amsmusl wheelchair available at the attraction for transfer to ride.
