Just thought I'd share our recent experience with trying to purchase Power Passes.

History - all 4 of us used to have Preferred Passes but to save some money I decided last year to keep renewing mine for the perks and to buy DH and DDs the Power Pass this summer. Then the Power Pass became Florida resident only.

However although we are not residents we do own property in Kissimmee and so we discussed this at IOA. We were told that if we could prove the property ownership we could have Power Passes.

The following day we went to US with electricity and cable bills showing our Florida address and photo ID and with no fuss whatsoever DH and DDs were issued with Power Passes!! Result! :woohoo:

Hope this will help someone else!

I -a non FL resident- had a power pass last year and decided to renew. When I called I was given the option of renewing with a Power Pass even though not a resident but I wanted to upgrade for the discounts so I got the preferred. I thought it was great that they still gave me the option of getting the power pass though.
