At the airport, when I'm waiting for my flight return home, are there outlets for use in the terminals? I plan on watching football on my iPhone so worried about running out of power. (I'll be able to watch the night game flying on jetblue).

As long as they arent all in use, yes you can plug in.

If I recall, I think Verizon, or one of the carriers, has 'power stations' in several areas of the airport.

There are power stations. You might have to move over to the next gate if your power station is full. I usually use my laptop while waiting for the plane. Lots of folks plug in their cell phones too.

I've noticed of late that SWA gates have armchairs that occasionally have working outlets and I mean occasionally. The last three trips I couldn't find a working outlet within 3 gates in either direction that was open.

Sorry, I should have asked if there were enough to go around...

Well, that's kind of an opened ended question, kinda like my answer. If everyone that had something that needed charging, no there wouldnt be enough to go around.

I carry a cheap strip with me in my laptop bag and have never had someone who was plugged in object to me unplugging them and plugging them back into the strip.
