Power outage at BC, BCV, CBR??? how long??

I was reading about the fire at the substation at EPCOT. They said it happened at 3:30 in the morning and power was finally restored by 6pm tonite resulting in the closing of EPCOT for the day.

It also said a the BC, CBR and a Disney Vacation Club Resort (I think they're referring to BCV) also lost power. I was curious as to how long they lost power. They said the park didn't have back up power, just wonder about the resorts and when the power came back on?? If it was a long time what are the resorts doing to compensate for this?

Glad to hear that the outage was brief. I bet everyone had a magical vacation anyway. And now they have something to tell the grandchildren someday, "I remember when I was in Epcot when the lights went out..."

I heard on the news this morning power is restored but DVC is still with out airconditioning.

I'm curious to hear how Disney responded to this at the resorts that were afffected. If anyone from the boards has been staying there for the past coupla days, please post your experiences and if Disney offered comp nights during this stay or offered for a future vacation.
