Your DIS Unplugged Disneyland Correspondents have started their own challenge for Power of 10 and Give Kids the World.
First a little background:
Since Pete announced this at the end of last year, we've been trying to figure out a way to get Disneyland fans involved in the fundraiser.
The answer came to us as we recorded the latest Disneyland Edition of the DIS Unplugged Podcast. You can listen here (start at around 6:00 to get to the juicy stuff).
Disneyland Correspondent (and resident food reviewer) Tony Spittell [oc_tony] did a story on the new Tinkerbell Half Marathon. Knowing that Tony is a runner, we figured why not have him run in the new Tinkerbell Half Marathon. Of course it couldn't be that simple.
Here's the challenge:
If we raise $2,000 for Give Kids the World, Tony Spittell will race in the Tinkerbell Half Marathon wearing pixie wings and a green tutu.
Since we're talking the Power of 10, that's only 200 people donating $10.
Here's the link to donate:

Let's show the power of the Disneyland fans on the disboards.
Thanks in advance for your support.

First a little background:
Power of 10 is a grass roots fundraising campaign started by disboards founder Pete Werner to raise money for Give Kids the World. The concept is simple, find 10,000 people willing to ask 10 of their friends to donate $10
Give Kids the World is a non-profit organization in Central Florida that works with wish granting organizations to fulfill wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses to enjoy a memorable, joyful, cost-free vacation to the Orlando area
