Power of 10 - no more text donations

I don't remember seeing this on the boards.

I was just on the Powerof10.us website and saw this message:

Update: As of July 15, text message donations are no longer supported. It was costing too much money for the amount of donations coming in. If there is a change in this, we will let you know.

Thought I would pass along the message.

Someone mentioned this last week. Here's what Dave, Senior DIS Correspondent, responded with so everyone understood what is going on:

Hello Cobbler, thank you so much for your support of the fundraiser. Yes, this is something new. I received word that GKTW can no longer support the text message donations through mobile giving. It was costing them the organization more money than it was bringing in. We are currently looking into alternatives.

Until that time, the easiest way to donate would be directly through the FirstGiving page we have set up for the fundraiser.
