Potty training tips for 3 yr old boy

I noticed my son loved when the school bell would ring at my oldest sons school.

I bought a timer. I set it go off every half hour. When the bell would ring we would yell, "Theres the potty bell! Time to go potty!"

He loved it!

We had 6 days of set back after the initial poop came. Then on Saturday I gave him some juice because he was holding it in and slightly constipated. Well get ready for TMI cause the diarhea came! It actually was a good thing though because everytime he went tinkle he needed to poop to and it was easy! Now we are on day 4 of all potty poops!

I am one happy mama!

check my ticker... we are leaving in a few weeks!

I am a preschool teacher. About 8 years ago I went back to work part-time and had a class of 22 two and three year olds. I potty-trained 16 children that year and my secret trick for the boys was confetti. Sometimes I'd pick up a bag at the dollar store or else I would just make some with the hole puncher. Just sprinkle some into the toilet and dare the little man to sink the them. Totally harmless fun and the boys would get the hang of it in no time.
