Curious about this, I"ve only seen two commercials for it, have to admit it sounds too good to be true (in others words, like it's a piece of crap!). But oh, if it worked, it'd be great for our female Shih-Tzu, if she'd use it. SHe refuses to potty outside, has to have a tinkle mat. HEck, I"d even put a mat in the liner of this gizmo to catch the liquid if she'd just use the darn thing!

" collection tray holds up to a gallon of liquid allowing multiple uses" Wouldn't it begin to stink up?? And how to do you hold a tray that large to carry to a tub/toilet/outside to dump???
Thankfully I have the best dog ever... unless she had a UTI, she never peed in the house. I changed her food and that seems to have gotten rid of them too. So no worries what so ever.

Although I guess you could create a toilet drain in the floor, cut a hole in the center and then "flush" it with water.

:lmao: The drain hole is priceless! Luckily, with little dogs (we have two Shih-Tzus) it's nowhere near a gallon (ewwww, can you imagine that much dog pee?), I'd just like for her to contain it to one area (other than my master bathroom, in front of DHs sink, lol)in the early morning hours (both dogs). She will seek out a mat to use, thankfully, but if some thing like this would alleviate the mats everywhere....

Have a look at this site before you order this product. Seems there is a list of people that are extremely unhappy with this company.

Shih tzu owner here.....have you talked to her vet about her never going outside? Maybe they could give you some training advice.
I have the perfect dog so luckily we haven't had to deal with anything like that, she goes out & pees in 5 seconds.

My male is that way, He actually thinks that he has to walk down our extremely long driveway in order to poop! I think her thing was she came from a breeder, she hates the outdoors.

His problem is he refuses to go outside if it rains, plus you have to ask him, he won't ask to go out.

rcraw, I think we've had the talk before that it's a Shih-Tzu thing. :(

We moved into our new house (new carpet, redone wood floors, new paint on all the walls, new-new-new to us!) and Rink did great. Not 1 accident.

Three days after I got home from the hospital with Lucas he has destroyed the upstairs closet with pee. :(

They're got attitude, those fluffy little monsters!

Yes they do Patsy! Scruffy, the male has tons. He curls his lip at the girls if they get too close to Mama or Daddy, he thinks he's the #1 kid! They are very self centered too, Sadie is getting me up by 8AM every morning (even when Jeff is not working Days), she scratches on my side of the bed till I pic kher up instead of jumping on the leather bench at the foot of the bed like normal. THen she does her lick lick slurp thing. Now that I'm up she's curled up on the dog bed by my desk in the kitchen. cruff on the tother hand, would sleep in the bed all day with no problems. Shes' also a "talker" which drives us up the wall. Chirps and squeeks and yips constantly, both at Scruffy and us.

silly me - I thought this was a post about an award to give your child when they successfuly completed potty training (like a girl scout/boy scout badge).

Beck to the real discussion ....

Just saw the commercial last night, and it grossed me out - and I had a dog who used a weewee pad (biggest mistake ever). The thought of emptying the tray after the golder retriever used it?! How about male dogs? :scared1: At least I could just toss the weewee pads, and not have to hose them down.

yeah, the pads are pretty convenient, that was why I actually concidered lining the tray with a pad . Anything to get her to start peeing outside!
