I get into the site, and every time I try to do something it gives me the purple page. I refresh and then get the page I wanted. Except when I was trying to request friends - then it totally got stuck.

I'll try again later. But this is sooooooo frustrating!

I'm in Hufflepuff! I thought I'd either be there or Ravenclaw, but I'm really pleased! I loved finding out all the info about the Hufflepuff common room.

Question - what do I do if my potion is ready, but I can't get onto the site? It should be ready at 10.30, but the site is down.

I think if your potion is supposed to be ready in say 80 minutes, I think you get an additional 80 minutes to tend to it (but I am not sure that's the real length, I just know there is some additional time). However if the additional time expires the potion goes bad even if the site is down. That is frustrating.

And I melted a cauldron today.

Yep it goes bad. After my second potion going bad because of the site being down I have now decided to no longer do potions until they figure out how to handle more people.

I'm so frustrated with Pottermore being down all the time right now. I haven't even gotten to make my first potion yet without it going down constantly!

Anyone from the first few days of entry still logging on to this? I haven't been on in about 2 weeks, since they took dueling down. I got tired of making potions, and that's about all there is to do right now. Just wondering if anyone else has put it on hiatus until the grand opening?

I got in later. Missed the dueling - bummer. But I haven't been able to get on or stay on lately so I've stopped trying.


It's really really frustrating because it looks like it has a lot of potential. The Optimist side of me is hoping that at full launch there will be no more issues logging in and there will be lots more to do.

The Pessimist side of me is thinking this is a colossal failure! Luckily, I don't listen to that side too often.

Yeah, the page did a refresh thing for me while I was brewing once. Next thing I know I was in my book and it told me I had a potion brewing. I clicked on that and it was the one I was working on - I had to start over from the beginning.

The problem with being a beta tester for this site - if you click the Beta Feedback button it's just multiple choice. There is no way to tell them what the problem was. So I can say I didn't like the page, but I can't say why.

Yeah I filled out the survey but it really doesn't tell them anything. I see lots of comments about problems but are they reading every comment at the end of a chapter?

Ok. I'm addicted but I haven't been able to do one potion correct...I've spent a fortune on ingredients. I tried the spells and I'm not better at that this is going to be a huge time wasting site

I haven't been able to brew a potion because every time I wait for it to brew, I get kicked off then I can't get back in time and I lose my potion.

I finally got into the site and am already thoroughly addicted! I'm a Hufflepuff! I've decided that I hate Potions but am getting the hang of the Spells.

What I really am enjoying is all the backstory and the notes from the author. What an amazing imagination and eye for detail she has!

I am so glad to see i'm nto the only one having problems with potions. Its the only thing to do, and it won't let me do it rawr..... thank goodness i'm going to WWoHP soon to get my required potter fix.
