If we would buy an 8 day ticket with the added bonusses of Blizard Beach etc, do you have to use our "extras" in those 8 days or could for example go to one of the water parks after the 8 days have expired???

I think, and it should be on the website, that the thickets expire after 14 days unless you chose the no expiration option.

You may use the water park admissions before, after, on the same days as, or on days interspersed with your theme park visiting days.

Your 8 day pass with water park fun & more could give you as many as 13 different days of Disney enjoyment.

Adding non-expiration ($107.) to an 8 day pass is not recommended unless you also add days 9 and 10 for $4. each. Non-expiration is not recommended for vacations of 8, 9, or 10 theme park days.

It's not a stupid question at all. Unless you have purchased the no expiration option, your ticket and everything on it will expire 14 days from its first use. You can absolutely go to the theme parks on days 1 through 8 and then go to one of the plus venues on any combination of days 9-14, as long as you have unused plus admissions left to use.
