I just took a survey about Turbotax. It seems that they are considering offerring a deal where you cold turn part or all of your tax return into gift cards with bonus money (10% - 100%). I thought it sounded kind of cool especially if it there were stores that I shopped at anyway. Thinking practically, it would only be worthwhile if there were stores where I shopped for household items or groceries.
Well, reason and practicality went right out the window when I saw Disney on the list of potential places. In the survey, there was a proposed 20% bonus. It wasn't just for the Disney stores. It said that it was also for theme park tickets and hotels. This was just a survey so there's nothing final but I thought it would be so cool. So many people use there tax return to go on vacation to Disney anyway. Wouldn't it be nice to get a bonus?
