Potential players Shockwave problem

I've recommended vmk to friends on another Disney board I belong to. A few have tried to play vmk, but can't sign in. They get the message they need to install Shockwave (when they have Shockwave already installed). One person played vmk for the first time yesterday, but can't sign in today because vmk tells them they need to install Shockwave.

Anyone have any suggestions to pass along to them?

Now three people are telling me they have the same problem.

They are looking at runescape instead.

This shockwave thing is the most annoying part about keeping up with vmk whilst on the road. Took a trip to Paris recently (seeing both parks, of course) and could not get wireless on my laptop. Tried the local internet cafe places, but couldn't log on because you needed to download shockwave, and the cafes have a zero-download policy.

Missed out on the motorboat pins, too. Someone was going to get me some, but either never did, or didn't have time to answer my pms about them. [sigh]

P.S. I wish "sigh" was in the dictionary
