Just checked our passports. Wasn't at all worried, until I noticed dws passport expires on March 5th 2007. Thats 6 months and 4 days after get back from this upcoming trip!!!! Just checked the US immigration website

Fortunately, it's as suspected, you need 6 months left on your passport (on your return) to gain entry. Just as well it's okay, as I checked out our passport service, only to find that, yes, they do have a rapid service where you can get your passport renewed in just a day. Great you say. No worries for the idiots among us who neglect to keep an eye on how long they've got left on their documents. Except you will probably have to wait 2 weeks for that appointment!!!! Brilliant!
My advice.... Check those passports!;)
Just as an added precaution, we're ringing the US embassy on monday morning.

The 6 month rule does not apply to UK passport holders so you will be fine, the only issue could be that the airline stipulates 6 months!!

Claire ;)

Thanks Claire, I couldn't find that page when I looked. :sunny: Reassuring that we've plenty of time on dws passport.
Fortunately, we'd still have been okay if the 6 month rule had applied, but only just!
Thanks again,
Ian
