Qatar Airlines little other information at this time.
Excuse me...I took it to be an airline name and not the name of a coutry. Atleast where I'm from, Qatar is pronounced "Que-tar" and the news anchor is saying, "Cutter"RoyalCanadian said:Once again -- the word is Qatar.

If you have access to a television, MSNBC keeps going back to it. There are no news releases yet. You can go to Google and click the "News" tab in blue just above the search box. Type in Qatar Airline and keep checking. That will bring headlines up right away (provided they're published). I hope your DH is safeBabyTigger99 said:Please, does anyone have a link. Remember, there are LOTS of rumors on the net and in the news...this could just be a rumor.![]()

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Crude prices fell further Thursday on an Al-Jazeera news report that a plan to hijack a Qatar Airways flight had been foiled. Traders fear that demand for jet fuel may decline as people hold off from flying because of a perceived rise in terrorism activity. "This might be a sign that perhaps there is still an ongoing threat," said Phil Flynn, senior market analyst and vice president at Alaron Trading. Earlier, UK authorities said they had foiled a plot to blow up several planes bound for the U.S. Crude was last down $1.15 at $75.20 a barrel after falling to a session low of $74.80 on the hijack news
