potential first solo trip!!

Hi! As of right now I'm planning my first ever solo trip to the World!! I'm single since last August, and I've always wanted to do a solo Disney trip, so I signed up for the Tower of Terror 10 Miler race, and booked myself a room at AS Sports yesterday, as my Valentines Day gift to myself!! (also the first race I've ever signed up for!)

I say 'potential' because it is a long way off, the end of September, and who knows what or who might change, lol, but I figured I'd just pop in here and say hi!!

You will enjoy a solo trip, everyone deserves a solo trip! I've done 2 and met friends from Disboards there, and I'm now doing the challenge with a Dis'er from NC. So u might not be solo for long if u make friends on here

Hi!!!! It's a 5K challenge threw AK including an obstacle course and scavenger hunt. At night!!!!!!

I always wanted to do the half marathon, but time of year hasnt worked out. Im very close and in Eatontown all the time.

Was in NJ, Bergen County, but now in NY, Rockland County!

And that Expedition Everest Challenge sounds awesome!!

And yeah, I already have a couple people from the fitness site I use that I know are going, and I'm on the official ToT Run thread on here, so hopefully I'll meet some DIS'ers too!

I did the Everest race last year, it was a lot of fun. And I did way better than I expected. Was going to do it this year but had to cancel but am doing the ToT this year. Did the W&D the last two years and wasn't happy they moved it. I will be back again in January for the Full.

Is AS Sports one of the host resorts? I am going to be at BW so will walk to the start. I did this race when it was a 13K, they had clues set up along the route to find out who kidnapped a movie star. Or was it a producer? I think I liked the Everest puzzles better.

That sounds like a fun challenge!

It is! If you get a chance to do it I definitely recommend it. The obstacle course isn't hard at all. And it's fun mixing the different types of activities.

LOL, I meant 'potential' as in 'potentially solo', because who knows, maybe I'll find a friend who likes to run, or maybe I'll have a significant other, lol

The race is DEFINITELY happening!!!

Yeah, it is a host resort. And I got the discount rate for the race so I'm pretty happy!
